About Arcade Partners

Arcade Partners is a private equity firm focused on investing in privately-owned middle market, manufacturing, distribution and service companies. We provide business owners with a combination of liquidity and significant continuing ownership of their business. We also bring a long track record of helping our partners execute aggressive growth strategies. While we typically partner with existing owners, we have also backed management teams seeking to acquire a business. We will also make non-control and growth capital investments.

Arcade’s principals have a long and successful track record as entrepreneurs and investors, investing in a wide variety of industries in both private and public companies. In all cases, we seek to partner with strong management teams and together help drive growth of our portfolio companies by providing strategic, operational, financial and M&A resources aimed at enhancing value in each of our companies. We are flexible in structuring transactions to meet the specific needs of each business owner. As entrepreneurs ourselves, we understand the importance of maintaining the corporate culture of each company while striving to continue to assist our partners in growing their companies to build significant shareholder value.

Our principals have been investing at Arcade and at prior firms since the 1980s and have broad experience and contacts across many industries. We make a significant investment in each company, alongside several institutional and family offices with whom we have long-term relationships. This structure provides us and our portfolio companies with significant flexibility in determining appropriate holding periods for each investment.

We are flexible in structuring transactions to meet the specific needs of each business owner, and work closely with our partners in growing their companies and continuing to build value. Our transactions are structured to enable the business owner to:

  • Achieve liquidity while retaining a substantial continuing ownership stake and operating autonomy
  • Meet estate planning goals
  • Facilitate generational ownership succession
  • Provide capital to achieve acquisition and organic growth plans
